Everyone has to be a member 

A membership in the Medical sciences student union is obligatory for all students within the medical faculty. As a member of the student union, you are included in our surveillance program where we work hard to represent our members and give students a better education and a better student life. Our members can always turn to us for support or advice if problems concerning their studies occur. The membership also gives you access to ”Villan” and four issues of Kår-Puss every year. As a member of the student union you automatically become a member of one of the four sections depending on your program/course choice.

Membership fee

The membership fee includes a central fee paid by all members. Additionally there is a sections fee that varies depending on which section you belong to. Click here to read more about this topic.

  The membership card

Approximately two to three weeks after all fees have been paid, a ”Mecenatkort” is sent home to you. This is your membership card. This card entitles you to various kinds of student discounts.
